Jonas Kamm studied Philosophy at the Humboldt University Berlin and
obtained his degree in Photography at the Folkwang University of
the Arts in Essen in 2020. He currently lives and works in Berlin.
His work revolves around the intersection of sculpture and painting,
of computer science and photography, and of various traditional and
contemporary pictorial strategies, while questioning cultural viewing
patterns. With the help of computer-generated imagery, he creates a
universe of images and situations in which objects and spaces meet,
creating enigmatic micro-dramas whose meaning often remains in limbo.
Besides his own artistic practice, Jonas Kamm works with the studio
Zeitguised developing visual campaigns for various international
clients.
